Evee is our 7 lb Maltipoo. We asked her guardian family to share a bit about her personality for our website, and we loved their response so much that we’re including their words exactly as they wrote them:
Oh boy!!! She has a big loving personality. She’s incredibly smart, she’s learned hoe to use a few buttons. She’s learned how to communicate when she wants something, I.e., she’ll bark once at your feet, but then I have to be aware of what’s going on around me in order to figure it out. She loves to ride on the tractor with Dan. If he forgets her or leaves her behind, she will let him know when he returns. They will have the funniest conversations while she speaks and Dan talks back with her!!!
When we come home after being gone, she has to find something to chew on, and then she whimpers, just like a baby, until you pick her up. Then she settles.
She will tattle on the other dogs off the ever run off, she’ll come back and alert back to us. So as long as we stay in tune with her, we can dusky communicate pretty good. But she’s easy going, not demanding (only with Dan!) and she seems to be a favorite at our house.
